Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens
When the lilacs bloom, this place is unreal.
Lilac Days celebrates spring with the entire garden bursting into color. A stroll through the garden makes you want to bring home every knick-knack in their gift shop. And be sure to make room in your garden for all the lilac starts and beautiful plants they have for sale!
It’s easily one of the most beautiful flower displays you’ll ever see and by far one of Woodland’s can’t-miss spots.

Cedar Creek Grist Mill
This historic mill feels like stepping back in time.. and that’s not an exaggeration. The entire place still runs on water power, moving through a system of original wooden mechanics. It’s authentic and still working exactly like it did back then.
They host hands-on classes for things like pancakes and shortcakes using fresh-milled flour, and it’s honestly delicious.
Tour the site, see it in action, and don’t skip the food.

Woodland Community Library
More than just books, this newer space has become one of the best spots in town for kids and families. From story-time, classes, “A library of things”, to special events like reptile shows and movie nights – there’s almost always something going on.
It’s an easy place to spend an hour or an afternoon. The space itself is bright, open, and built for the community to actually use.
It’s one of those go-to spots that keeps kids interested and parents coming back.
These are just a few of the spots that make Woodland feel like home.
