Planters Days

Planters Days is one of Woodland’s biggest traditions ~ an entire weekend where the whole town shows up. From the kids and pet parades to the coronation and fireworks, it’s packed with the kind of moments everyone remembers. It kicks things off with the library book sale, bingo, and Woodland’s Strongest competition – but Saturday is where it really comes alive ~ parades, the Saturday Market, the Firemen’s BBQ, military vehicles, bed races, live entertainment, and the Cruise-In filling the streets.

And then there’s the Frog Jump *now in its 58th year* where generations of kids line up for their shot at prizes (and bragging rights), cheering on frogs for longest jump, biggest, smallest, and everything in between. By Sunday, things wind down with the car show, market, and raffle drawing.. but the energy sticks around.

It’s loud, it’s local, and it’s one of those weekends you don’t want to miss in Woodland.

And a full Carnival with rides and games!

Movies in the Park

A summer favorite that turns simple evenings into something special.
Bring a blanket, grab some snacks from the booths, browse local makers, and then settle in for a movie with the family as the sun goes down.
It’s easy, it’s local, and it’s one of those Woodland nights you end up looking forward to all season.
