SPOTLIGHT
On Family Focus

Some of the strongest parts of Woodland are the people building community around kids and families. Growing Montessori and Woodland PTSA do that in very different ways. One through thoughtful, nature-based early learning. The other through school support, events, advocacy, and family connection.

Both are creating spaces where local kids can feel supported, families can feel connected, and community shows up in ways that actually matter.

We like what they’re doing. We think you should know about them, too.

Growing Montessori Outdoor Schoool

Nature-based learning, local families, and a whole lot of heart. Nestled in the hills of Woodland gives students ages 3-6 a place to learn, explore, and grow outside the traditional classroom

Woodland
PTSA

Woodland PTSA brings families, schools, and community together through events, fundraising, advocacy, and the steady behind-the-scenes support local students rely on.

SPOOKY SEASON

Finding Local isn’t going to be hard anymore

Woodland has more businesses than most of us realize. The problem is they’re scattered across Google, Facebook, word of mouth, and that one recommendation somebody gave you six months ago that you definitely forgot.
So we started putting them in one place.

A Directory That Actually Means Woodland

The new Woodland Weekender Directory is built to make finding businesses right here easier — places to eat, people to hire, shops to wander into, family stuff, local farms, community organizations, and the businesses you didn’t know were three minutes away.

Because ā€œnear meā€ should mean actually near me.

THERE’S USUALLY SOMETHING HAPPENING

Woodland Likes an Excuse to Get Together

Give us a sunny evening, a holiday, a good cause, or apparently just an available parking lot, and somebody around here will turn it into an event. Planters Days owns the beginning of summer. Movies fill the park when the evenings get long. Fall brings pumpkins, markets and Halloween everything. Then come the bazaars, lights and small-town Christmas traditions before we start all over again. In between? Markets, fundraisers, workshops, live music, school events and plenty of reasons to leave the house.

The Calendar Changes. The Traditions Stick Around.
